What kind of companies should I refer?
The best fits are growing businesses that have outgrown off-the-shelf or no-code tools and need custom software, system integrations, or AI built around how they actually operate. If a company is holding things together with spreadsheets, manual workarounds, or disconnected systems, that's a strong signal.
What industries are a good fit?
We bring deep experience across healthcare, financial services, benefits and payroll, logistics, retail, manufacturing, construction, real estate and Prop Tech, education, music technology, and professional services, among other sectors. Because we treat industries as connected rather than separate, solutions proven in one often accelerate outcomes in another giving clients both sector expertise and cross-industry insight.
What does Stratos build?
Custom software, platform engineering, system and data integrations, and AI enablement. We embed as a client's engineering team rather than running one-off projects, which is why the engagements tend to be strategic and long-term.
How much can I realistically earn?
You earn 8% of everything Stratos invoices that client, for the life of the engagement. Because deals range from five to seven figures and the work runs for months to years, a single referral can keep paying out rather than closing once.
Why is the commission 8% when other programs offer more?
Most programs paying 20% or more are referring low-cost software subscriptions. Here, 8% applies to large, ongoing service engagements, so the dollar value is typically far higher, and it continues for as long as the client stays with us.
What makes a qualified referral?
A new company that hasn't worked with Stratos before and isn't already in our pipeline. Once you submit them and they sign an engagement, you're credited and earn on that account going forward.
What happens after I submit a referral?
Our team takes it from there discovery, scoping, proposal, and delivery. You're welcome to stay involved as the trusted introduction, but you're never expected to sell or manage the technical side.
Do I need a technical background to refer?
No. You don't need to scope or explain the build. Your job is to spot a company that's hit the ceiling of its current tools and make the introduction; we handle the technical conversation from there.
When and how do I get paid?
Commissions are tracked in PartnerStack and paid out monthly. A referral's commission is earned once the client pays their invoice, so you're always paid on real, collected revenue.
