Netlify Partners is designed for partners who help customers build, deploy, and scale modern web applications with Netlify. This includes agencies, consultancies, technology partners, platforms, and builders who influence, recommend, or build on Netlify as part of their workflows or products.
Who can join Netlify Partners?
All partners start as Ecosystem Partners. This includes creators, publishers, educators, freelancers, AI builders, and technology partners. Partners that deliver hands-on implementation and operate production systems can later qualify as Certified Partners.
Do I need to be a Netlify customer to join?
No. Ecosystem Partners do not need to be existing customers. Certified Partners, however, are required to be active Netlify customers based on their production experience.
Is Netlify Partners exclusive?
No. There are no exclusivity requirements. Netlify believes in open ecosystems and partners are free to work with other platforms.
How does AI fit into the Netlify ecosystem?
AI is a core part of building on Netlify. Through primitives like Agent Runners and the Netlify AI Gateway, partners can help customers build AI-powered workflows and developer tools.
Can partners commercialise AI-powered solutions?
Absolutely! Many partners build AI-native products and services on Netlify using Agent Runners and the AI Gateway to drive shared customer expansion.
How is partner attribution handled?
Netlify uses PartnerStack to support tracking and attribution across referral, recommendation, and influence models.
Ecosystem vs. Certified Partners?
Ecosystem Partners focus on education and early influence. Certified Partners focus on deep delivery, production operations, and scaling customer workloads.
Which partner path is right for me?
All partners begin as Ecosystem Partners. If you eventually deliver hands-on implementation or operate production workloads, you can qualify as a Certified Partner.
How do partners generate revenue?
Revenue models vary: Ecosystem: 20% revenue share for 12 months on self-serve new business. Certified: 20% for 24 months (self-serve) and 10% for 24 months (enterprise expansion/renewals).
How should partners represent Netlify?
Represent Netlify accurately and transparently. Partners should not imply ownership of the Netlify brand or position themselves as Netlify.
Can partners create content or integrations?
Yes! Partners are encouraged to create content, templates, and workflows that showcase real-world scenarios.

Yes, approved brand assets and guidelines are available through PartnerStack to ensure accurate representation.

Netlify provides onboarding, enablement resources, documentation, and marketing assets based on engagement level.

Partners can view attribution and performance insights directly through the PartnerStack dashboard.
